Kathryn Wightman-Beaven is the Director, Global Sustainability at DP World, responsible for developing and driving forward a strategic approach to sustainability across the organization, including humanitarian relief effort. She has over 20 years’ experience of working in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors on issues of social change and sustainability. Kathryn worked for The Prince’s Trust, a major UK charity, and also led the development and implementation of the global corporate responsibility strategy for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). She was also responsible for leading and managing a major social change partnership project between PwC and UNHCR focusing on developing educational opportunities for refugees residing in refugee camps in Chad following the violence in Darfur. Kathryn chaired Philanthropy Australia’s Corporate Responsibility Network driving forward awareness programs and initiatives on issues of social change and corporate responsibility. Kathryn has spoken at several conferences on the integration of sustainability into business process and advises Not-for profit organisations on building sustainable long term funding plans.
